At KCA, we integrate the truth of the Word of God and a Biblical worldview into every area of the curriculum. We examine the purposes of God in all academic areas and make the connections between our Christian faith and every area of a student’s learning. While our emphasis remains first and foremost on education, we acknowledge the need to sustain a Christian atmosphere for our students. We believe this is integral to the formative years of their life.

The difference is astounding and significant: KCA focuses on the whole student – spiritually, socially, physically and academically. We view ourselves to be in partnership with our parents to help our students develop and achieve success in these areas.  Each student at KCA is encouraged and mentored by every teacher and staff person to become all that God has intended for them to become.

Every day at KCA begins with Chapel time where are students participate and facilitate praise and worship, prayer and scripture meditation.  Many Christian schools set aside one day a week for Chapel time, but we believe daily time with the Lord is an important lesson our students will take with them throughout their lives. At KCA, we start every day off right!

KCA is a non-denominational academy that is significantly different as we educate students from a biblical worldview for lifelong learning and Christian character. Most Christian schools teach their religious affiliated doctrines and emphasize a need for the student to be indoctrinated into their denominational structure.  We support each family’s choice of church affiliation and defer all doctrinal and theological questions specific to their denomination faith back to the parent for clarification.

In addition to academic excellence, KCA’s emphasis is knowing Him and making Him known. 

Absolutely. While we understand Christian education is not the cheapest form of education, it’s certainly the best. The real issue, which has nothing to do with dollars & cents, is the stewardship of what will be crafted into the student by the educational system, the church and their family before the student comes to the age of accountability.

KCA teachers use multiple teaching strategies to actively engage all students in the learning process. The teachers draw their lessons from a wide range of resources including the A Beka Curriculum and further enhanced with the use of technology.

A Beka is a Christian-based approach to theory and learning that is achieved through practicality, which keeps learning lively, interesting and memorable.  It includes materials that have been developed as a result of fifty years of actual classroom experience.  The principles in the curriculum are built upon the firm foundation of scriptural truth and are written by dedicated and talented Christian scholars who are well grounded in the practical aspects of classroom excellence.  As a result, A Beka is the most widely used Christian curriculum in the nation.

KCA currently offers the following subjects: Bible, Language Arts, Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Social Studies, Music, Foreign Language, Art, Character Development, and Physical Education.

KCA was founded by Anthony and Margo Wallace, Senior Pastors of Crossroad Christian Church in Dover, DE. The school was birthed out of heart to bring to the community a solid, biblical-based training center for students. KCA is a member of ASCI & Christian Educators of Delaware. KCA is currently in process of receiving accreditation.

Now that we have completed our first three academic years, we are in process of receiving accreditation through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

Several of our administrators and instructors are state/nationally certified, and many are continuing their education.

Average tuition cost for each student is $3,950/year with discounts available for multi-student enrollment. Tuition can be divided into manageable monthly payments. Contact the main office for current info and fees.

Tuition is setup on automatic drafts from your, or debit/credit card. This amount can be paid in full upon enrollment (10% discount) or can be divided into manageable monthly payments.

KCA has a program that connects families that need tuition assistance with donors who are willing to contribute to help cover tuition short falls. A financial application is required of all families requesting assistance.

Yes! Multi-siblings discounts are available. Not to be combined with any other discounts. They begin with 10% less from 2nd student and progress.

Tuition does not cover before/after care, books, and registration.

Student books are not included in the tuition price. Curriculum fees vary depending on grade level. Please contact a school representative for more information on curriculum costs.
